Waterworks Watercolor

The painting itself is very small. No watercolor paper was used because of lack of, so I streched out the printer paper using large amounts of water so that it wouldnt crease. Because of scanning, some of the color is lacking than that of, and as always it looks better in person than what you see on the internet. This was Jim-B's photograph and I just painted it. It may appear flat because I printed out the photo and was looking at it while working. For the water fountains I used acrylics on top of the opace water color so that the white would attract more attention. A large brush was done for the sky and the water on the bottom with a smaller brush to add in more detail while the wash was still wet causing a purpose bleeding effect making it look more wet. Side-dabbing of the smaller brush wih opace color of black and green were used to get a tree effect.
