Faries of Deep thought

This painting took me SO long to do. About a few months; but anyway its finished. The actual canvas size is 8x10 (a little smaller than an average size of printer paper for people who are like me and are mathmatically challenged.) Done with acryllic paint, and some glue.
I took insparation from Brian Froud 'Good Faries Bad Faries' and I wanted to do my own. The idea was all original, but I wanted to hide things in the backround just like Brian Froud and come out and say 'BOO!' So the more that you look at it the more pictures you'll see.
I had a little trouble on hiding the critters because I'm so used to single vocal points. It was a challenge but I think that I got the jist of it. I simply painted over top of the brown backround and used black for a little bit of outlining. A friend of mine (Brie) suggested that I needed to tone it down just a bit more and use less black because it look too cartoonish. So I did it over again with watered down white to make the black a dark grey.
