A Largemouth Bass

This painting took me a longer period of time to do then "Flowers" because of the larger quantity and more descriptive quality. A largemouth bass sits in the middle of the camoflague like scenery. This was done with acryilics and using the "Paint on Paint" technique. The foreground (the fish and the gravel on the bottom) was outlined with small dots with the paintbrush and then glazed over with diluted white paint. The backround mimicked camoflague and was glazed over with diluted blue, yellow, and green all separate to receed itself. A sharp needle outlined and used for the fish only so that it would be the main focus and "pop" out at you. Acrylic on artcard.
